 Animals that are endangered are at a high risk for extinction. Extinction is when the animals no longer exist on our planet. There are many things that can be done to save animals that are endangered, educating ourselves about this problem is a major step forward to help save these endangered species. 


Quest Directions:

Pretend you are members of a research team, you and your team must choose  a region of the world to explore. While you are exploring, you will be gathering information about the endangered animals in the region you are researching. You must create a presentation that persuades the government to create legislation to save an endangered animal you have studied. 


Guiding Questions:
 
1.What can we do to help save the endangered animal in the region you chose?

2. How can we continue to improve habitats for those animals in the wild to ensure that they do not end up extinct?

Objectives of this webquest:

You will be able to choose a region in the world and identify indigenous animals that are classified as endangered by using internet research tools.

Using the information you researched, you will be able to develop a plan to help save species classified as endangered.

Using a visual media of your choice, you and your team will create and present a compelling project to convince members of the region's government to create legislation to protect the endangered animal.
